This Estate Bottled White Riesling is made from heritage vines in the Mayeri California Soleil Vineyard in the heart of the Napa Valley, a location perfectly suited for the development of the complex, aromatic, fruity and well-balanced structure of this wine. On the nose, our White Riesling shows aromas of tropical stone fruits, mandarin, and white peach. This bright, wine bursts in the mouth with a mingling of stony, sweet fruits, including apricot, papaya, mangosteen, and mango. With an extremely long finish, this well-structured White Riesling begs for the accompaniment of food--anything needing a slight hint of sweetness to offset spicy or succulent foods, including Thai, Indian, and Chinese cuisines.
This White Riesling is made from organically farmed grapes at the renowned Devoto Vineyards in Lake County, a cool climate perfect for the long-ripening necessary to produce the tropical bouquet and lush mouthfeel this wine displays. Our Lake County White Riesling presents aromas of white peach, mandarin, apricot, and pineapple. This gorgeous wine fills the mouth with a fusion of peach, apricot, and papaya. Roussanne is a beautiful, hard to find alone, Rhone varietal. For those who are not familiar with this wine we consider it the Sauvignon Blanc of Chardonnay. If that does not make sense now, it will when you try this wonderful wine. The nose of this alluring wine has notes of sweet hay and wild flowers. The wine moves seamlessly into a mouth of Galia melon, lychee, Asain pear and green apple. A crisp mouth feel, but with a soft creamy edge, finishes out the tasting experience.
