Another one from the past--the first vineyard we picked for the "black label" series!
Back from the past!
This reserve bottling shocks with its reflection of site-specific character. It presents aromas of smoky bacon, cocoa and roasted espresso beans, complimented by notes of cherry, clove, cinnamon, and anise. Its mouth-filling red and black licorice compliments long-finishing, tannin-wrapped hints of creamy cherry. Dare we say the joie de vivre of Burgundian attitude with the best of New World fruit? Its dark, smoky, and spicy distinctiveness will age for many years to come. Only 100 cases were produced of this amazing wine.
