2013 Prix Reserve Mèlange

Tasting Notes
mélange m (plural mélanges): 1. mixture, blend 2. From Middle French mélange, meslange, from Old French meslance, meslinges (“set of diverse elements”), apparently a borrowing from Frankish misklinga (“mix, mixture”) Wherever it came from our Melange is one beautiful blend! Starting with a powerful nose of dark blackberry bramble, lush Mr. Lincoln rose, deep plum and subtle mint and rosemary, this wine knows where it is going. Those big strong aromas continue onto the palate and are joined with rich red fruits and round approachable tannins. Throughly enjoyable now, our blend can also go the distance.
