2019 Hagafen Pinot Noir
Did you know Pinot Noir is a very old varietal and it is the father of a multitude of other varietals, including Chardonnay, Aligoté and Gamay. Only a few generations separate it from the wild vines present in the forests even before Roman times. The first written record of varietal, under the name Pinot Noir, dates from 1375.
Our newest vintage of Pinot really shows it's heritage. Mediterranean in style, the aromas abound with a delicious herbal mix, soft cinnamon and bright wild strawberry. Carrying onto the palate, we find rosemary and sage along with a side of fresh raspberry. With light tannins and a lush round mouth, our Pinot is ready to be enjoyed!
