2021 Prix Reserve Sauvignon Blanc

Generally, when people think of Sauvignon Blanc they think of a bright & fruity type of wine. This Sauvignon Blanc puts a sophisticated twist on that thought. The twist comes in the form of 13 months in beautiful French oak barrels. Barrel aging white wine creates a richer, rounder body and a softer, creamier texture. On the nose, this latest vintage has the aromas of rich coconut cream pie, soft orange blossom and Kaffir lime. On the palate we find again the coconut and lime and they are joined by bright lychee and Asian pear. This lovely wine is crisp yet creamy, soft and lingering.
